The Pittsburgh Penguins, who are in Vancouver to begin a four-game Western trip, practiced Monday without top-line right winger Bryan Rust, according to reports.
Rust left Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia in the third period with what the Penguins termed an upper-body injury. He appeared to shake his left hand as he rose from a collision.
Earlier in the win, he had two goals an an assist.
The Penguins did not have a definitive update on Rust after the game, and coach Mike Sullivan was not sure whether Rust would be traveling with the team.
